Three Tips for Summer
Make plans ahead of time: if you’re going out of town or won’t be near a pharmacy this summer, please talk to CHC staff right away. Changes can’t always be made to prescriptions right away and not all pharmacies dispense Methadone/Suboxone.
Avoid Alcohol: remember that using alcohol and other downers can have dire effects for people taking methadone. Don’t risk it. Avoid alcohol.
Keep Kids Safe: kids are home from school for the summer – don’t forget to keep your Methadone/Suboxone safely locked away at all times.
